Looking for a quick and easy healthy treat? These chocolate dipped oranges are sweet, juicy, tangy and so delicious. Using only a handful of ingredients, this satisfying fruit dessert is a must-try if you love chocolate and citrus together!
Peel the oranges and separate them into segments. Lay each segment onto paper towels. This helps absorb any moisture.
In a small bowl, add the chocolate, vanilla paste and butter. Microwave for 20 seconds. Stir. Microwave again for 15 to 20 seconds. Stir. Microwave for another 10 seconds if needed and stir. Don't burn the chocolate.
Lay parchment paper on a baking sheet or plate. Pat dry orange segments with paper towels, dip half of each orange segment in the chocolate and place on the parchment paper to rest until set about 15-20 minutes in the fridge (or room temperature). Optional: add a little pinch of flaky salt, or crushed nuts, sprinkles right after dipping in the chocolate.
Once chocolate has harden, serve and enjoy!
